Google has officially unveiled the new operating system - Android Wear, the OS designed specifically for handheld devices.
Android Wear is essentially a miniature version of the popular operating system with more explicit emphasis on voice control and small displays. It provides access to the "useful information when it is needed most." With it you can find the latest news from social networks, chat with friends and get answers to specific questions. For this the operating system has a voice search function which is activated by the command «Ok Google».
Various applications for fitness will allow to be aware of speed and distance, time, training, etc. And, of cours , with the help of portable devices with Android Wear users can remotely manage smartphones: playlists, start broadcasting your favorite movie on TV, etc.
Preview version of Android Wear is now available for app developers, so they can make necessary changes to their applications to be fully compatible with the new operating system. Although Google says that these changes will be minimal.
