Manufacturers are always trying to quickly release the key updates for their smartphones. Especially when it comes to such popular gadgets as Sony Xperia Z.
And today, the Polish mobile operator Play revealed important information about the timing of Google Android 4.4 KitKat updates release for Sony Xperia Z. The company intends to start the update the operator's version of the gadget in late February or early March of this year. This means that about the same time, the international version of Sony Xperia Z should get the update.
Sony Xperia Z1 is the flagship smartphone of the Japanese company, which was announced in early September at the IFA 2013 in Berlin. Its distinguishing feature is the 20.7-megapixel camera with Exmor R matrix size of 1/2.3 inches, which is almost twice of the standard smartphones matrices (their size 1/3.2 inches).
Moreover the smartphone can offer users a 5-inch Triluminos-display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with a quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, all standard connectors and support for NFC.
