Nokia announced in India another representative of the inexpensive line of Asha - Nokia Asha 501. This phone was first released on the new touch interface, Asha, which is positioned as a more nimble and focused on the recognition of gestures.
Nokia Asha 501 is comprised of two parts, which makes it more durable and cheaper to develop. The rear panel is removable, provides access to the memory card of 4 GB battery and microSIM slot for the card.
The smartphone got a 3-inch QVGA display and a 2-finger multi-touch, 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus.
The updated platform of Asha takes its roots from the operating system MeeGo. The phone enlivened by double-clicking, implemented two home screen - Fastlane and the screen displaying the application. Fastlane shows past and present events: running applications, reports and various notifications.
The gadget works in the 2G standard, has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, connector microUSB, integrated with Facebook, Foursquare, Linkedin, Twitter, Youtube.
The version of Nokia Asha 501with 2 SIM cards will be released soon. Nokia Asha 501 will be available in June, the cost of version with 1 Sim will be $ 99.
